Your-resilience keeps you active, engaged and determined to achieve your-goals. Even if it is easier saying it than doing it, the truth is that you have to keep on moving. The truth also of the matter is that when we start doing something we do not plan to fail. But it is equally needful that we grow alert and active as individuals and groups to engage our capacity to bounce back. This is why in science we have the concept of limit of elasticity. In life and in business or employment, limit of elasticity can be described as the duration of time you will take thinking, pondering and meditating upon that failure situation and the associated circumstances. There is also your survival time inside the success or failure situation and your ability to manage-your-transition equally between successes as well as between failures. If you take longer than the limit of elasticity or what you can also call success or failure survival time, then you are putting yourself and potentially your future in jeopardy.
So spend only sufficient and enough time entertaining the success or failure situation and the associated circumstances. After this you need to move and treat that success or failure as a "children's story" to be used for mentoring and coaching others so that they know both how to celebrate success and also overcome failure. In this way you build your resilience muscle.
When you focus on getting to your goals, you should consider all other things as mere challenges. Someone I consider one of my remote mentors once asked "What are bad thoughts? Then he said: "they are simply renegades looking up an old friend." (Dr. Robb Thompson: on silencing the voices when you are alone). I find this to be a very beautiful awareness refresher! Think about it a little. This is one way you can treat thoughts that bombard your mind when you are trying to focus on your purposeful work. The word challenge sounds more like a competition you have to participate in, win and be crowned a champion, whereas the word problem does not convey the same sense. The reason I am using the word challenge is to help you understand the difference in the consciousness that is generated in your mind. Challenge prepares you to overcome and not to succumb, to confront or negotiate rather than avoid issues, that is you are employing your-resilience muscle. If this approach is your normal then all other things are just challenges, that's it.
So if you keep moving, you allocate sufficient and enough time to ponder over a success of a failure so that you take achievement or lessons away with you to the next battle. You deal with challenges as if they were normal life, business or employment activities, then what is left in front of you are your goals - there is no rain in the army! Your goals are your real challenge and all other challenges are just apparent challenges. This way you can keep focusing on your goals - when you wake up, when you take a break, and when you sleep - its just goals, goals, everywhere you look, goals to achieve!
