Your best states of your-emotions are developed by your good choices in situations. Since the state of your-emotions is definitely affected by circumstances you find yourself in, It is your response ability, through your real-time self-identification, self-awareness, self-regulation and self-development of your emotions, that determines how the consequences of a situation either hinder you or enable you to go forward to achieve in your-goals. How you allow which forces can determine your emotional state in and out of situations is entirely dependent upon you, and not on the situation. If this is true then this means within you, you have all the armour (to borrow a military term) to successfully login and logout (to borrow some computing terms) of any situation.
When you know what your emotions are doing as part of your self-awareness-development you now have ownership of your emotions and can participate in a balanced way within the ecosystem of your personal qualities represented in the 'soccer ball' above. When you cannot handle your emotions in any situation you become a victim of self-emotions. When this happens you should realise you need to move from self emotions to your emotions.
Each of Your five senses (see, touch, taste, feel and smell) has a corresponding force responsible for driving that emotion from your inner realms. The result is that an emotion quickly becomes a motion, which instigates your action to satisfy that emotional demand. Lets says you feel hungry in a situation. Your taste sense will try and identify the supply - the food you bring. Hunger is caused by your body needing something and informing your mind that your body needs food. While food is a supply and hunger is a demand (an order) the cells in your body collectively habour a force that issues signals that are interpreted as hunger by your brain. Imagine, if your brain has about 100 billion of what are called neurons, how many forces you have and how many systems, circuits and complexes of forces are driving you.
The example of hunger is just one system. Your body possess many such systems organised into circuits and then into complexes working perfectly and excellently together, thanks be to the infinitely intelligent Creator. These are divided into three categories and interrelated intimately with each other. Your knowledge of how signals work will enable you to live above your emotions, while appreciating the motions emanating therefrom and working with your emotions to achieve your purposes and goals. That is, your-emotions should be under you, not above you and controlling you.
Take again the scenario of feeling hungry and your response to that. If you know that when you are hungry you become angry and when you are angry you do not respond well to something like provoking jokes or even other things, then you will take the steps you need to avoid becoming hungry. Is this not so? Take another example of working so hard that you are very tired when you finish working. If you know that when you are physically tired you do not respond well to situations, then you will take steps to avoid being so physically tired. But this requires to study yourself as a human being. This is where your self-rest is so important. When you self-rest you will be able to pay attention to this level of detail that involves your-emotions. In other words you are taking leadership over your emotions. Why am I feeling this? why did I come to this status? and you will get answers to mastering your-emotions.
Self awareness development situations is here to enable you to get your victories and keep your victories. So that when you overcome a situation you will keep overcoming it's manifestations because you utilise very potent tools to succeed. This is your formidable challenge in life. It is normal! You will go through such challenges several times in your life. You will come to realize that whether it was during your childhood, teenage, youth, young adult, adult or old-age the same tools remain potent for your success - your continual upgrade of your self awareness development.
