Your-hope is sharpened by your-confident expectation of only the best outcomes inside your life. You have self-hope already inside you? That is the seed on which you build the muscle that is your hope. That built muscle is your internal capability that constitutes your confident expectations. Have you ever heard of the idea of "finishing strong"? You need your hope when the situations of life compound themselves together against you. There is a book written on finishing strong and identifies three things that will distract you from finishing strong, according to the author. Well, to finish strong you must first "keep strong" irrespective of how strong you started. Your-hope is the "black-box" containing the things you need or want. So to sharpen your hope in only the best outcomes is to raise your demand on each category of the outcomes that are best for you.
You can best understand your transition (refer to my self development managing-transitions article) to your hope from self hope with an example. A good friend of your knows that you are confidently expecting the best outcome on your course of action. So they say to you "I know you will beat it!" Have faith! Then while you are busy wrapping mind around that motivation - an awareness situation, another good and best friend of yours comes and says: "Hey buddy, do you remember that outcome you are confidently expecting? "To your faith add one, two..." Then all of a sudden you realise - become aware - that you expected outcome requires you to put in the one, the two and so on. Your hope muscle is becoming stronger every day.
To back up your hope you need to understand and appreciate that in the same way that the "birds of a feather flock together" (opens in a new window) so too also does your hope need and is directly underpinned by your-faith. Yes, the faith that makes you to be you. You are you because of the faith material that makes you. You do things primarily by faith. For example, your drive your beautiful car or ride your nice bike by faith. That is you don't expect that the on coming vehicle is going to just bump into you or the vehicles behind you will just all of a sudden accelerate and hit you. That is faith! You drop your children at school or at a bus stop and faith that they are okay at school. Your hope in that nice burger is largely faithing that it is well cocked and will be delicious.
To be confident of positive outcomes is to drill yourself in thought with pictorial, audible, textual pillars that keep lingering in your mind about what you are doing. Things like meditation will work well for you. Do what you like to do in this regard. If you are picture driven person then use those. If you are an audio driven person then find relevant audio or create such audio. If you are a textual person and enjoy things like slogans, poems then get relevant material and use it. Your-hope makes everything to point to the positive outcomes that you are going after. Frequently, confidence requires you to model your lifestyle to depict what you want in real ways. Do not hesitate to depict your hopes in both practically relevant ways and still keep your real personality.
Self awareness development situations is here to enable you to get your victories and keep your victories. So that when you overcome a situation you will keep overcoming it's manifestations because you utilise very potent tools to succeed. This is your formidable challenge in life. It is normal! You will going through such challenges several times in your life. You will come to realize that whether it was during your childhood, teenage, youth, young adult, adult or old-age the same tools remain potent for your success - your continual upgrade of your self awareness development.
