Verbalize Your Action, Issue #003 -- Verbalise Your Mission

Next After Verbalizing Your Vision

As you become comfortable at mining your purpose, you form your own path from where you are right now to what you saw in your vision. By writing or drawing your vision, you cause your purpose to be a visual site in your memory that you cannot forget or ignore.

Your pictured vision starts growing bigger and bigger inside your memory and occupies your whole mind so that it turns into a force that is there with you whether you are awake or asleep. The vision does not care. Your vision has assumed a life of its own and will cause you to put down a plan to take you from where you are now right to the pictures embedded in your mind.

Starting from the end picture or image you have formed in your mind begin to write down the big steps that you think you should take. Line up your big steps in reverse order from the end to the beginning. Do not be so concerned about how accurate you are. Just jot down all your thoughts that come to your mind. You are forming your mission. Use any tools that you are comfortable with.

Then keep giving gratitude for your mission that you are forming to take you to your purpose, which you see inside your vision.

Mission - Highway to Your Purpose!

Then Verbalize Your Mission Action

Start reciting the things you have written in your high-level plan. Create some visual milestones for each major achievement you want to reach. Every mission has stages which have a start and an end with clear milestones.

As I write this I am already thinking about the Tour De France that is starting in the next week. This race that includes known and unknown cyclists in teams is both exciting and challenging and attracts people of all walks of life to visit France.

Is your mission to win the Tour De France one day? Start verbalizing your win right now. Do not stop verbalizing until you have won the Tour De France. Do you see an example of how to accomplish your mission.

Start verbalizing your own mission now!

It is not time for you to share your mission with anyone else yet. You will share when the time is right. Right now is the time for you to form the picture of your "Tour De France" - what you see yourself doing in your mission - your own activities.

Find similar images or pictures that seem to convey to you what you have to do in your mission and put them where you can see them frequently, such as your phone photos, your Google+ pics, your Facebook space, your Instagram images.

Keep revisiting your social media purpose, vision and mission pics, plans and other artefacts so that your own mind feeds on all these for your own mental development.

Make All Things to Point to Your Purpose

Is your vision and your mission reminding you of your purpose? Build your inner ability to interlink things so that you can see the big picture from the smaller aspects that point you there. Here is a verbalization example you can use or copy.

Act On Your Mission Verbalization

You now have to act on your mission with your mouth first, declaring your commitment to your mission.

So from the picture above, you can speak the following: (interlink mission and vision to your purpose)

I (insert you name) walk inside my mission towards my vision, which I have received from my purpose. I have installed by mission, which is part of my downloaded vision. I am living inside my purpose.

The Tools I Use - What is SBI?

Productivity Depends on Process, Tools & Teams

Why Do I Use SBI?

One day during my MBA studies I realised that as an employee and a best practices consultant in software development it was common practice to quickly learn a tool, process and tool guides, write a certification exam, become certified and get out to tell other companies what and how they should deploy software solutions to make profit or gain competitive advantage

Then I discovered a question for myself. Why don't I develop my own products? I guess that was the best thing I learnt from my MBA studies. Of course the MBA instigated this behaviour in me. My MBA thesis supplied the business concept and material. Now I needed to get down to productivity.

After a long research for the best in class, I found SBI. Initially I was sceptical, but as I explored the SBI process, the tools and the core SBI support team including the more than 380 business sites that are running on top of SBI, I realised I was home and dry.

I hope you can enjoy as i am doing, slowly, step by step, just like the tortoise! Its a copycat cyclical game. You read, you check out some examples, you experiment on your own site and your release that part of your product and monitor it's performance.
